About the Organization

Our Heritage & Dedicated Purpose

Leadership and community dedication at Community Scholarship Foundation

Founding History & Roots

Founded in 1970 by dedicated Forest Lake educators and civic leaders, the Community Scholarship Foundation has invested continuously in the potential of our town's youth.

We believe post-secondary education should be accessible to every ambitious student, whether they are bound for a university lecture hall or an accredited technical trades apprenticeship.

Governance & Fiduciary Standards

Community Scholarship Foundation operates under the governance of an independent, uncompensated Board of Directors dedicated to community welfare. Our leadership exercises active oversight over program budgets, ethical compliance, and executive administration.

As an IRS-designated 501(c)(3) public charity (EIN: 23-7274027), our annual financial statements and IRS Form 990 filings are maintained in open public record and available through our office or via GuideStar/Candid.
